I put the Harley extended reach bars (55954-00) on mine. I am 5' 11" and they work great for me. You can see them in my large signature picture.

I'm 6'2" and have the Chubby 518's. As someone else noted, they are perfection. I tried out a buddy's bike with the Heritage bars, and whilethey arean improvement over stock I still liked the Chubby's much better.

Like many others, I had the Heritage Classic bars installed on my 97 Road Kingand although they are comfortable, I don't seem to have as much control on slow speed/sharp turns. From all the posts I've read the Chubby's 518 handlebar seems to be a favorite and I'veonly heard of three people that didn't like them; so it would be worth meeting withwhiskers to check them out. Here's the link for the Chubby's web site with descriptions, pictures and testimonials http://www.wild1inc.com/

Whiskers, I just sent a PM.
Hey Chief,

If you're looking for a wing man on I-25 when you trip down to Whisker's let me know (as long as it ain't during Daytona 500!) [8D]
I'm always looking for an excuse to ride (if the weather ain't to shi-T . Of course if it snows like they say on Wednesday the roads might be slop.

Patriot, I'll keep an eye on the forcast and let you know when I am going. Forcast has temps in the 30's-40's this weekend. May end up delaying but would rather not. You are centainly welcome to ride-a-long.

Whickers, I did not get any feedback from youon the PM I sent. Both of you gents can sendme an e-mail to fishpro@comcast.net. My profile e-mail on HDForum is getting bogged down with soooo much *****.........If you sent something, it could have been deleted by mistake...Steve
