.

Anybody install slip-ons without doing an air cleaneror Sert/Mapping change??

I would think on the 07's with the O2 Sensors that the system would notice any lean condition and make adjustments.....otherwise, what is the purpose of the O2 sensors???

HD's O2 are very limited - EPA is the reason for the LEAN CONDITION (Heat) and having the Stage 1 download from the Dealer wouldn't help you one bit as the Dealer is still required to make any and all adjustments with-in EPA Strandards and the would still leave you LEAN

I guess I am still questioning if installing slip-ons going to make it run any leaner than factory exhaust?...because maybe the 02 could adjust to it--to a limit i am sure.

Can I run the slip ons and do the air cleaner and sert/power commander later?

Factory setting dont bother me right now....as long as it is not detrimental to the engine.

I ran my Rush 2" baffles with stock everything else. I didnt notice any gain in fuel mileage. I don't think it ran leaner. Now I seem to be getting better mpg than stock w/ sig setup. ????? 17k miles though. DAMIFIKNOW! Engine seems cooler tho. Just ain't ben on it at 90 degrees w/ updgrades.
