I have a 07 RKC and am looking for a good bike intercom. I had purchased one of the cheap ones from eBay, seemed to work ok in the garage, but once the wife and I hit the road it was useless due to the background noise. I'm not looking for a high dollar tricked out bluetooth unit, just a simple, easy to use intercom. I am interested in the throat microphones as they are supposed to eliminate background interference. Thanks in advance......................

Great Intercom and Bike to Bike upto 490 feet- also works with any other Bluetooth Device...

E-Bay normally is the best place to get these...

i've got the small J&M intercom only system that I use on my WG. Fits in the saddlebag with a small volume **** that I have velcroed to the outside of the saddlebag. I've used it a lot while on the road with my WG and it works great.

I used an Autocom system. I think it was on par with J&M. Never had any problems with it in 3 years I used it. Only reason it's not in use anymore is because I got an Ultra and didn't need it.

I also used Autocom...great unit...I thought it was better than J& M. Could communicate with passenger at highway speeds with Thunder Header..Music high and lows clear..music drops down during conversation, when phone rings or radar detector goes off...with auto answer phone both rider and passenger can comminicate with incoming callhands free. I guess it all depends on how much you want.

Thanks for all the tips. After my vow not to go with one of the more expensive units I did my research and decided to go with the Blueant Interfon. Good reviews on this unit, no wires and can do bike to bike with no radio if other bike is equipped with a Blueant. As always ask first before you buy. $139 w/free s/h, at http://www.intercomsonline.com/produ...interphone.htm
