Default Billet Oil Cooler

Have any of you out there used the billet oil cooler made by American Custom Products? If so how do you like it? I have an 07 Ultra and wonder how well it would work. No oil lines to leak and a clean look. Here is the link: http://billetcool.com/

I have seen this and had given it a whole lot of thought
it may decrease oil temp some don't look like it will very much
but it would make it easier to change oil and less messy

On e-bay they have a slip on sleeve that goes on your oil filter. It also has the deep heat sinks on it,I think it sells for 39.00. I believe its the same principal and alot chaeper!

I looked at those before putting the HD premium oil cooler on. I liked the idea of having a thermostat to control when oil is routed to the cooler.

So, has anyone got any experience with the billet coolers that slide over the oil filter? (it seems that is what is being discussed here) I've read opinions that are all over the page. Yea, yea, I read about the melting ice cube demonstration, but also have read that they can actually act as a INSULATOR over the oil filter......sigh......

Got one of those Alum oil filter cooler's on mine, a buddy got one a week later because he liked the way it looked on my $4.00 cheaper black instead of chrome HD oil filter ( I'm a cheap A$$) He has a Temp gauge on his and said it made about a 7 to 10 degree difference on his, it can't hurt and I don't see how it could act as a insulator at all, because if you slide it on a already hot filter it heats up QUICK that tells me that it's soaking heat outta the filter and oil!
