1k service syn3 in all 3 holes. I'll likely stick to syn3 through my dealer service plan (through the 10k service) then may switch probably to Mobil-1.
Just had the 1000 miles service for my 08 Ultra at the dealer today.Service Managerrecommended his HD Syn3 in engine & primary and they strongly recommended Bel-Ray Big Twin for the trans. I use Mobil 1 is all my other rides and will change over to that myself at 5K or so. I think I will continue to use the Bel-Ray in the tranny cause it definetly shifter smoother and sounded better on the 140 mile trip home.
I did it at 500 miles.. Mobil one in the engine and primary(15w50) no need for the special v-twin 20w50. 75w140 synthetic gear lube in the trans (Mopar stuff I get for free at work).
Amsoil Syn since 1,000also Severe Gear Tranny, I know the severe gear is a high pressure oil, ButI figure with the Florida heat what could it hurt!!! I ride this bike likeI stole it and robbed a bank on the way,Not a complaint on the way,
