Who switched to synthetic and when?

RE: Who switched to synthetic and when?
There's enough info and debate to make you go blind, if you try and read it all.
As for me, I ran conv. dino in my '05 FXD, only because I had the prepaid PCMP and was getting an oil change every 2500 miles. It was cheap and I did not know better.
I picked up my '07 RG in November with 7900 miles on it and immediately took it to Mexico. It would have had 100% dino in it until then, as it was a dealership bike pulled out of their rental fleet. When I got back a few days later, I did an oil and filter change, and went to 100% syn in all holes. Holy **** what a difference....shifted better, ran cooler, shifted quieter, found neutral easier.
I am still on that oil change for about another 1000 miles, but I will be sticking with syns.
I used Mobil1 V-Twin 20-50 in the case, Mobil1 HD Gear Oil 75-90 in the trans, and Mobil1 Racing 4T 10-40 in the primary.
There are a lot of other excellent syns, or syn blends, out there too....Amsoil, Royal Purple, Redline, Syntech, Syn 3, etc etc.
