Default Bike to Bike Communications

I'm considering "Chatter Box" X-Series for Bike to Bike communication and would appreciate any feedback you might have.

Never used it myself, but back when I had my BMW a lot of other fellow Beemer riders used it and swore by it.

You might want to browse some of the other bike forusm (BMW, etc.) if nothing turns up here.

I went with BLUEANT INTERPHONE - MOTORCYCLE BLUETOOTH HEADSETS...

Great Intercom and Bike to Bike upto 490 feet- also works with any other Bluetooth Device...

E-Bay normally is the best place to get these...

I just sold two on E-bay. When my wife rode her own bike it wasnice to be able
to talk to her. Also I would plug my MP3 player into it. I say they were worth the price.

I have been through all kinds of communication devices in my day. Had three different kind's of Chatterboxes Boxes. They all served their purpose and are a reasonable value. Was never really super happy with any of them. They can be a pain in the but to keep charged on long trips. I finally mounted the last one to the bike and hard wired it. The bike to bike range is never what the box says, and audio quality is only OK.

Last year (of course the year before I bought my Ultra) I popped for the JMCB 2003. CB, audio quality and headsets are far and away better. Best money I ever spent.

In short, if you plan on having the set up for a long time, and you can swing the expense, I would have rather bought the J&M product for the same money I spent on the three Chatterbox products.

I had a chatterbox intercom. Was very unhappy with it. Sent it back for a refund. Ended up using a Autocom system. Worked great.

From personal experience, Chatter Box is a POS.

Any specific supplier offering any specials on the Blueant Interphone or did you just go to the manufacturer for them?
