Default Fullsac and what is it??

Can someone enlighten me as to what exactly a Fullsac conversion is and the advantages/disadvantages of it as opposed to true duals, or slip-ons? And do you treat it as any other exhaust upgrade and go with a fuel management system/hi flow air kit. Also, do you need to change heat shields or will stockers work, or should you change them to one with more shield (stockers don't cover much) Thanks for all input. Jon

The Fullsac dual conversion is a replacement for your split rear Y pipe, and and extension for the lower front pipe, It makes it a true dual setup, the conversion is pretty easy to do and comes with great instructions and the Owner Steve is a great guy if you have any questions. I have had it now for over a year and I really like it I also have a set of stock 2007 mufflers that he recored and my bike runs great with this setup.

CueBall pretty much covered it. I have a set with Rush slip-ons and the stage one setup. Very pleased with the kit. The price cannot be beat however it is not as fancy as the tru dual setups with one piece chrome heat sheilds and all. I would do the entire stage one with the kit just make the bike run cooler and richer. Check their website out and give them a call if you have any ??? Good people to deal with. Bryan

Best bang for the buck. If I had time, I would have done this change.

Same here. I've had mine for a little over a month now and have no complaints. It is easy to install although it does take a little longer than an hour or so. Most of the extra time is caused during removal of your old pipes so it's closer to 2 hours. I'm running Hooker Tuned Flow slip ons, SEAC, and PCIII from Jamie at Fuel Moto. Big big dif in the way my bike performs. Also $170 beats $600 to $800 any day. Just keep in mind that this is not a performance exhaust like others. It is what it is, a true dual conversion. Good luck.

Am I to understand this is a $200 fix to get rid of the Y pipe? Do I still use my stock mufflers? From the instructions on the web site, it looks like you get everything you need to convert. Also can I at a later date put some slip ons with this setup? ie Rinehart,Rush, etc. I think I would like to do this on my 07 FLHT b/c I like the cleaner look of true duals. I am happy with the stock sound, just want the y pipe out of the way.

most newer model years the left pipe is just a straight through resonator, I would advise getting a set of slipons or have yours recored.

you can add slip-ons at any time with the tru-dual conversion kit.

So the stock mufflers aren't reallycored to run a set up like fullsac, since most of the exhaust from the rear cylinder exits out the right side anyways? Must be why they sell re-cored mufflers?Jamie has a program set up for the fullsac on the PCIII?

When you call Jamie, just tell him you have dual exhaust and what kind of mufflers.
