Default Lubing cables

What kind or brand do you recomend for lubing throttle and clutch cable. I dont think any type of penetrating oil should be used but I could be wrong.

don't use anything graphite because of Teflon coated cables and Teflon lined Cable Housings...
Use a thinoil based product preferably containing silicone or teflon.

I have an 05 Dyna Superglide Custom and was wondering when is a usual length of time when you need to lube cables. Can you tell it needs lubed or is it just do it every year type of thing. The reason I ask is I had the easy clutch kit put in about a year ago and the difference was amazing. Now though, it doesn't seem so "easy". It could be I either got used to it or it is time to lube. Since it degrades gradually you don't really notice it. Any advice as to when to lube would be appreciated. Tricks and tips on lubing would help also. Thanks

I use a cable luber,, which allows you to spary into the cable housing,,, I use silacone.
while doing this take your clutch lever right off and clean every single piece, and part.
you'll notice a big diff!
