Default Report on Clearview with RG

I installed my grey 1" over stock a few days ago. I didn't realize what a POS the stock shield was until I held the clearview and it's rubber trim. The install was fine after a couple of guys here advised me to put the chrome trim screws in the well nuts before inserting them into the bike. My chrome trim has a 3/8" gap off the faring but it's pretty consistent on both sides so it doesn't look bad; most folks wouldn't notice. The clearview does make a BIG difference in head buffeting. I'm 5' 10" and the stock shield had the wind hitting my forehead, it wasn't unbearable but my glasses & helmet had more movement than I liked. No more, the clearview moved the air over my head so the ride is smoother, and warmer here in the 40 degree weather. Looks like I chose the right size for my height as I still see over the top easily. If you are thinking about a clearview my feedback is all good except for the imperfect fit of the chrome trim.
