+2 That's exactly how I remove badges affixed with two sided emblem tape.

HaHa been there-done that. Having been in the bodyshop business for 35 years, you're right on the blisters, on small jobs it seems to work pretty well though.

I always just yank the emblem off with my fingers and then use my thumb to push the tape off bit by bit. After that I pop my blisters and sip a brew while I admire my handi-work.
