Default FXRG Textile Gear

Didn't get any hits in the General Chat Forum. maybe I'll get some here.......

Does anyone know where I can find performance results as far as abrasion tests & etc. for this gear?

Or has anyonehad the misfortune of goingdown wearing this gear that can report on it's performance?

While I don't have any info on this gear, if you can find the denier of the material used, here are some guidelines that may help...

500 Denier Cordura - 22 pounds to tear - 710 cycles to failure

620 Denier Cordura - 35 pounds to tear - 1200 cycles to failure

1000 Denier Cordura - 110 pounds to tear - 1780 cycles to failure

I tried it on today at the dealer and liked it. I've ordered a leather jacket and if it doesn't fit me right I'll probably end up buying one.

That helps, now if I could just find the weight Harley uses. Doesn't seem to be published on their website.

I've had mine for five seasons. Never went down(knock on wood).
Love it. For some reason the leather one doesn't fit as well.
Maybe it's cause I'm 3X.

HD is not the only that doesn't provide such info.

If you find out, pls post as I too was interested in the same jacket.

I'll be at a dealer in the next couple of days. If they have one on the rack, I'll take a look and see if I can find any tags that might tell us something.

Ask the motorclothes people to look that info up for you. The FXRG is the best performance gear HD offers. It is hard to beat. If money is no object, check out LANGLITZ.COM.
