Default 08 Road King W/J.E.T. 106" build install next week

Next week I'm having Johnson Engine Technology in Westerly, R.I. install a 106" kit with S&S crank, Rhineharts Tru Duals Etc......
Has anyoneinstalled a similar kit and or to their 96" TC Road King, I'm lookin @ 105HP and 110TRQ. How much acceleration change from stock should I expect and how much lowder are the Rhineharts, just impatiently curious!

The rhineharts sound good you will like them. If you are spliting the cases why not go bigger than 106"? Im sure you will like the 106" just it is not much more to go big at that point. 113", 117", 120",124", 131". just some case work and your already buying a crank. Just food for thought.

go bigger --- don't waste that crank on a 106 -- go 113 or larger. I don't think there will be a noticable difference in the cost--- good luck with the build--- the acceleration will be like midnight and noon two different worlds

08RK: Is this the package you are doing?

http://www.johnsonenginetechnology.c...-injected.html

You should be able to get the numbers you quoted without the new crank and labor associated with splitting the cases.

There are a lot of knowledgeable guys here who would be glad to help; but they're handicapped without the specifics. Why not take the time to post the particulars?

The reason I'm having a crank installed is I whent to J.E.T. Shop and they showed me a crank from a 07 Screamin Eagle 110 , well that crank looked like it had some issues and I told him I wanted motor to last, I don't want no weak links! in response to size I am looking for reliabilty, power and was advised to keep compresion low for heat, money is starting to get up to my limit. I just had the Hemi in my 05 Ram 2500 stroked, forged and supercharger after burning my pistons up after putting a blower on withot coated pistons and forged internals, I am looking for a strong motor for the RK and keep reading about the cranks having issues. My ram was gone for 9 mnths and I was ready to kill the guy, just lookin to build this once, not the biggest or baddest, just strong , good running and between my legs all spring and summer( I havn't ridden in twenty years and I'm all jacked up) it looks like the link one of you sent resembles my build . Thanks for all the response and help, I already have paid half and pray this is the right place and a decent value at around $7,500.00 for the .....J.E.T CVN Head , 106" Pistons,4.5 " Stroke 106 crank, Andrews TW50H cams, 50/51 mm throttle body , J.E.T. Airstack and Rhinehart True Duals installed. I hope all this makes sense, I am way to deep into this to change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
