You'll be getting more than a couple of HP from the dyno. I had that canned map for the first 1000 miles after the dyno tune I gained 16 HP and 12 lbs of torque. It is worth it!!

One of the other questions I had was........ do the canned maps address the heat issue? I was under the assumption that the canned maps did not correct the "lean" running 07-08 bikes. Is this the case, or does the canned map add more fuel and correct the lean condition?

Sounds like Dyno is for sure the way to go with the SERT, the other option I am really looking at is the thundermax which no dyno time would be required. Not that I am against putting my bike on the dyno I am just looking for the best bang for the buck. But I do not want to sacrafice a quality tuneto savea couple hundred $$$.

ORIGINAL: n.o.yat

i talked to the dealer this morn about dyno and they said to expect about four hours on the dyno. that seeems like a lot of hard time on my bike.
It won't be 4 hours of wide open runs to the rev limiter. The majority of that 4 hours is likely going to be tuning the part throttle cells. Usually only the last few runs are done at WOT all the way to the rev limiter. You might want to call them back and ask them to explain their process. Everyone does it a little different.

A properly done dyno tune is not abuse. Make sure your clutch is adjusted and working properly and your rear tire is not shot and it is properly inflated.
