Another V&H Fuelpak ??

RE: Another V&H Fuelpak ??
Slow down a bit. First off.....what type of fuel management system is on the bike right now? When you say stage-1....what exactly was done to the bike? How long ago did you have the stage-1 done, and was the dyno tune done at the same time?
The V&H FuelPack is very limited as to what it can & cant do, and if the bike was dyno tuned....I am assuming it already has some sort of FM system on it....chances are a SERT.

standard stage 1 - hi-flow, true duals, slipins, all V&H, SERT, dyno just done about 500 miles ago, 3600 miles on bike. Fuel mgmt. was doneduring dyno -let's just leave the fuelpak alone and simplify this. The question is: is an initial fuel dump at cold crank idle at 2000 rpm a bit too high? Takes about 180 secs to level to 1000. Stock it startedit cold cranked at 1K and never had a fuel dump situation where it leveled off, that's what's getting to the dynomapping being questionable. I have 2 posts on this subject bit since it's a bit serious the replies are few. It's just an cold idle question.

In any case I do not think 2000 is too high....yes its a bit high, but within limits I would think. If its really keeping you up nights, give the dealer that did the SERT/dyno tune a call and talk to the tech who does the dyno tuning. Just ask him what is within limits and what is too high.
