I can't see spending that kind of money for a GPS. I just use my Nextel with the large screen display and use my TeleNav. It looks good, has all the topography and colors, same features as the expensive ones and the cost... $5.00[sm=smiley20.gif]
Don't have to worry about it getting stolen either, it's mounted with a small piece of velco right above the fork lock on my Road Glide.

At first I thought it sucked. But after using it, I found that not having the map display was actually 'safer', as I wasn't looking at the display but paying attention to where I was going. The audio is fine for directions. I primarily use it for determining fuel stops and distances to each stop. I use yahoo maps et al to plan the trip and print the maps to carry.

Damn, 1k. Just get a regular GPS and handle bar mount for $150. I just don't use one enough to justify that price and i don't need all the tricks the pricey models have. I just use mine when i really need it. It is in the box most of the time. I am also not a world traveler like some of the other people on here who can benefit from a zumo. I am able to find most places just riding around and i never really get lost (i would never admit that).

I agree with Rotrager, once you get used to the Harley GPS, you keepyour eyes on the road and it gets you there. I like it. I also have Garmin GPS that I carry in my truck, so I use them both. The HD one is best for a bike, in my opinion, besides if you can't forget to remove it on the road, so it won't be stolen.
