RE: Tour pak side marker and spoilers lights
The spoiler/LED has a four wire Deutsch connector that plugs into the existing Accessory plug under the seat. Alternatively, you could remove the Deutsch connector and replace it with the same three-wire plug used on the Ultra or '05 and earlierClassic TP's that will then plug into the TP harness on your bike located under the left side cover or seat. I have the part numbers for the three-wire connector and pins.
Don't know how the side marker lights connect--PM Dawg always works.

RE: Tour pak side marker and spoilers lights
dawg: If you buy an add-on tour pak does it have all of that wiring already in there or do you have to buy an additional harness??? If that comes with it does that plug into the one under the seat?? And if it does how would I be able to use both the spoiler and side lights???
One more question. How do use use all of this wiring with a detachable set-up???

RE: Tour pak side marker and spoilers lights
Monster: When I installed my spoiler/LED, I cut-off the plug that would run to the accessory connector and spliced into the TP wiring to avoid having another connector to unplug to make the TP detachable. Assuming the side marker lights have the same color code (and they did on my '04), the black is ground, the blue is run light, and the red/orange is brake light. To do the splice, it was necessary to remove the metal plate from the bottom of the TP to access the wiring--easy to do since the plate is secured with 3/8" nuts visible on the outside bottom of the TP. However, I don't know if this is how the wiring is run on the newer TP's--below or above the metal bottom plate of the TP.
As for where the TP harness is on an '08, perhaps you will get an answer from Dawg.
