Default CHROME FRONT END ON '08 ULTRA

Well I got my bike back from the dealer yesterday and the chrome front end package they installed looks great. Amazing how much of a difference it makes compared to the stock front end. I also had my 1000 mi service performed and switched over to Syn 3. I'm a very happy camper. Pics to follow.

I've got it on my 03 FLHT and I love it. It is unreal how much it changes the appearance of the bike.

I agree, adds a nice look, much better than stock.
Here's my "03 Ultra with chrome lowers and black skirts and the directional replacement.
My goal was to give my black bike the illusion of being lower, while shooting for the black & chrome look..
I think it worked. Although, I'm still working on it. Never done it seems.
Of course I also did install the rear lower shocks andfrontlowering kit when I did the up grade.

I had mine installed under the "elbow grease" promotion the MOCO is currently running and got it for 20% off at my local dealer.I agree it does give the Ultra a totally different look[8D]

Mine never left the dealership before they were changed. Along with polished rotors and chrome axle covers. It's like taking a lady out on the town dressed in a potato sack [:'(][:'(] with the die-cast lowers on an Ultra. IMO

How much does the dealer charge to install new lowers? I need to replace seals, fork oil in my 03 and will have to have new lowers. Trying to decide if I want to tackle this. I helped my buddy do his, it is a lot of work and a pia.

Dropped 08 SG off this morning for the same gig! Had it on my Deluxe, too. Really makes the bike, imo.

I had mine installed under the Elbow Grease program also and saved $100.00 in labor. The deal ran $870.00 + tax. Worth it though.

I had the same done on my new RG before it came home. Worked out a deal on the bike purchase. I bought the parts (at 20% off )and they installed them at no cost to me. I know about the elbow grease program, but I still think I got a good deal. So if I didn't....don't pop my bubble!

BTW I wasn't even thinking about a chrome front end until I saw a new RG sitting on a dealer's floor with them. Knew I had to have them after that![&:]
