Default Pro/Con to have Caps or Hardwares

What are the pro and con toeach the bolts and nuts covered or replace with chrome or polished stainless steel hardwares?

Love my HOT Toppers, should have done it long ago.

Downside... some are RTV'd on and would be messy to R&R them, adding labor cost if you don't do your own work ( I do 99% of my own wrenching.)

I do lots of Stainless on my Jap rice rocket, just remember SS is not as strong as a conventional say cad or zinc plated bolt, so beware in structural applications that you are not replacing say a Grade 8 fastener with a weaker SS replacement.

I believe it is cheaper to get the Hot Toppers and save alot of times. So, I probably will go with this method.
