Default Heat Sheilds

I saw what I think is a lexan type heat sheild on some bikes the other day and I can not seem to find them anywhere. Are they a Harley part or aftermarket.Thanks.

If you are talking about the heat shield that attaches to teh frme under the seat, harley has their version along with kuryakyn. I think there are a few other aftermarket ones also.

Harley lists them as "Mid Frame Air Delector" part number 58022-07A

RJ's Originals are a LOT better. They fit right, easy to install, and they just plain WORK. I have friends with the others versions that don't like them at all. You won't be disappointed with RJ's.

Kury calls them "Saddle Shields". I have those and they work well for me.

Having seen all of them on bikes, I think the HD version is the best looking of the bunch. I don't have or feel the need for them, but if I decide otherwise, it'll be the HD ones for sure.

After I installed a PCIII on my Ultra I didn't need a heat shield any longer.
