NH EZ-Pass

NH EZ-Pass
A few weeks ago there was a thread along the lines of "Where is your EZ-Pass located/mounted". I took one of the suggestions and mounted my NH EZ-Pass on the inside of the right saddlebag lid. The slanted shape of the forward part of the lid put the EZ-Pass at just about the same angle as would be if it were mounted on a car windshield. I mounted it so when the lid is closed it is also in the proper "right side up" position with the arrows on the front of it pointing up. Well I tested it last friday and I set off the bells and whistles going thru the toll booth. Anyone else with a NH EZ-Pass have any similar problems? Suggestions? I originally had it mounted on my windsheild where it does work, just dont like looking at it or taking it off when I park it. I swap it between my EG and my F150 so I cant put it inside the fairing.

RE: NH EZ-Pass
I have mine inside my fairing. works great, note to all, keep the serial # in your wallet in the event it does not work, you can just give the authoritys the number instead of ripping down the fairing at the toll plaza

RE: NH EZ-Pass
I live in IL near Chicago and unfortunately every freeway around here is a toll. I was at my dealer last weekend, and they had an I-pass mount. You mount it on your handlebars and just slide the transponder in. So, check at your dealer and see if they know of anything. I thought I saw one form Drag Specialties one time, but could not find it during a quick search a moment ago.
