I am lookin for some ideas for the empty slot on the saddlebags where the latch goes on the police bikes.I saw a real nice insert in the JP cycle catalog, but they wanted $173.00 for it. ( HUH--WHAT! )Thanx in advance --OD

 

I also would like to find the very same thing,,mine just have the black sticker were the police sticker used to be. someone must make something to dress up this void that doesnt cost $$$$$$$$$,

I'm guessing alot of these guys making these inserts must have lunch together,lol what inserts do you have on your bags? i can see something in your pic,but not clearly

 

check out e-bay i found a set of billet inserts black with cut-in lines for 79 bucks or so i did have to openthe holes a tad his bolt holes didnt line up perfectly but that was no biggie they are a nice filler for the $$$

I made mine for six bucks out of 1/8 flat steel and welded bolts on the back.

 

Try this link - looks like good stuff, just bought a set of police bags for my RKC - will switch back and forth with stock bags. Intend to get the right pieces for it after they are painted.
