Part Number Needed

RE: Part Number Needed
Nothing is wrong with the part per se. I'm doing a fairing conversion and when researching things, there was a thread stating that the European version of the headlamp assembly had better reflectors. What I didn't think about was the fact that the European version also has a hole that holds the position lamp. I'd like to get ahold of an American version (without the little hole in it) of this part without having to buy the whole assembly again. If I can't figure out a way to buy just this part, I'll just cover the hole with something.

Since when does this crowd only replace parts that have something wrong with them [8D]?

What is wrong with the part that you have, in that you have to repace it?

I'll usually try an fix something two to three times before I chuck it and get a replacement, expecially a part of an assembly that is not id'ed with a part number. I hate having to buy a whole assembly for anything that I can't fix, and then havehalf a dozen other parts hanging around because they came as kit or assembly! Then I've got even more stuff to save for ever.
You should be able to plug the hole with something!
Good luck with it.

RE: Part Number Needed
Well, I figured with the wealth of knowledge here, if you guys can't find a part number for this thing, then it really isn't sold by itself (Which is what the dealer told me). Thanks for the replys.
Back to fabricating a cover to go over this thing. Yes, I really am that ****.
