RE: 120" 's & tranny update? Phil?
The good news is that Igot my gearset back from Baker and it looks like new, with the upgraded trapdoor & retainer.
The bad news is that I F'd up my starter as I posted in my "WTF..." thread. I took a bunch of pics of the tranny project & will post them, but I really wanted to wait until I can ride the bike to ensure that the Baker fix resolved the clutch slippage issue.
Based on the 100'ish miles I have on it.... OMG! It rocks!
Hope to receive a replacement starter Friday & get it back on the road for this weekend.

OK.... Life is better now!
My replacement starter came in & is installed. I got to log about another 150'ish miles this weekend. A lot of the time was spent "training" (tuning) my DTT a little better. Much like a dyno tune, these auto-tune (AFR) devices have to be "put the the paces" under as many different throttle position / rpm / load combos as possible. They only learn what they have seen, so you have to ride in some different than normal conditions to get the device to tune in as well as possible.
Kevin was following me the whole time. I noticed that he would get REALLY small, REALLY fast in the mirror! He said it "appeared" that my rear tire would actually swell some, similar to drag cars under heavy acceleration.
He asked how fast I went & I replied that I had no idea other than that it BLASTS past 100mph in a heartbeat (in 3rd gear) and is still pulling like a MF! After chatting for a bit werealized that we could check my Zumo forit's Max Speed value & see what it said..... All I can say is you'll have to see it for yourself. [&:]
Needless to say, the clutch does not slip anymore!
Told ya... you'd have to see it. I have never questioned the accuracy of my Zumo... but.... I Dunno... HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
