Power Commander vs stage 1

RE: Power Commander vs stage 1
Which, by the way, I got when I got the 95 kit installed (ok, beat me severly about the head and shoulders), but help me out here...
I understood the "Stages" when I had EVO's, but I don't get the change... Did I get the Stage 1 or Stage 2 download when I got the 95 kit and SE pipes on the bagger (I'll need to know this when I get my SERT, due in any day now...)?
Thanks.

The reason you need the download is because everyone waste their money on it and then decides to go the smart way with a programmer. They SHOULD have a map without the download being used, but seems they didn't bother.
The PCIII modifies the program that's in the ECM. I would take the $150 for the download and put it towards having the bike dyno tuned and not waste it on a download. This way you will get better performance and the most bang for your buck.

Here's a few questions................
Can the dealer "tweak" the download?
Why do some bikes run good with the download and some don't
But no doubt that the factory download leaves something on the table as far as performance goes? Escpecially have to make the EPA happy.

RE: Power Commander vs stage 1
I ask because my 06 runs great with the hd download.
The injectors were changed to the 27709-06 injectors as per my worksheet.
Now Iam wondering if the dealer didn't install the factory download, then tweak it with the SERT.
I was never charged for a SERT, just the $149 for the download when the SE kit was installed
