Default Fairing on Road King Custom

What fairings is everyone using? Price? How is the fit and finish? Does a stock H-D windshield work with it? Do they offer a discount to forum members?
I Plan on spending my tax refund on the dragonfly fairing but wanted opinions before making my choice.

Thanks,
Aaron

The Better Fairings on the market are close in pricing...

I went with Dead Center simply because I can lock it to the bike and when the bars are locked you cannot access the fairing lock. Seemed a good idea aftea after spending a lot on the fairing and thinking someone could walk off with it in less than a minute. I had it poainted but I have heard their painters do an excellent job and the audio system is first rate. The company customer istop shelf and I can tell you where you can buy it from a Dead Center dealer for 20% off if you'tr interested. All Harley accessories including windshields, trim, bras etc will fit this fairing.

Disclosure: I ended up selling my RK Custom for an SG before I bought the fairing, but did all the leg work looking into a fairing.

I researched and researched these fairings for my RK Custom. Dead Center went above and beyond. I ended up talking to the painter on the phone for 45 minutes. The lady on the phone was more than helpful too. You should at least them a look. Just my $.02

One thing I have run into with putting a fairing on a rk custom... all the guys I contacted said I would have to remove the chrome wind deflector, which I don't want to do... you might check into that...

I got my Dragonfly for half price on Craigslist. Got lucky. Very happy with it. Was going to buy a new one when I found this one. Just liked the inner fairing a little better. I did a lot of research and they all got mostly good reviews.

Check out Firebagger.com...It is a Tsuyaku Hong Kong made fairing.Fiberglass construction, Lockable, 6 1/4 speakers, Can be bought with or without raido, with or without paint, Harley 3 bolt windshield fits, and is the most reasonably priced.
They fit well, are constructed well, and priced alot less than other similar feature models.
I bought mine unfinished but radio ready.
