Default Progressive shocks

Looking at going to a 12" progressive shock for my EGC. I've read that some of the shorter shocks tend to bottom out. The shock I'm looking at is the 412 series. It's offered in standard and heavy duty. Any input?

There's a lot of info on 412 shocks in the search engine. I would go 416 13 inch air for cornering and easy shock tuning for weight changes.

If you ride 2 up at all i would go with heavy duty.I love my 440's ,My rear tire is more planted to the pavement now.

Just went thru this recently .Put harley air 12" on the Ultra to drop it some. Just didn't seem to ride like it should. Got the 412's in heavy duty 12.5". Its much better imho.
