Not sure what to do as I really like
the protection they give.
Try putting some liquid nails or gorilla glue on the back of the velcro piece and stick it back on. I put the insert on my 04 with liquid nails and ain't nobody getting that thing off
I shoulda known, DAWG would have the answer

Thanks DAWG!!!

I wish I would have bought a set before my bag fell over in the garage. Can anyone make a comparison between the HD covers and the Ridetek. http://ridetek.com/

The Velcro shouldn't fail. At least, mine hasn't in 4 years. If you need more of that heavy duty Velcro in the future, you can get it in the sewing section at Walmart. I bought some a while back to mount a CB in a Jeep console. It's stuck and ain't coming off.

Velcro fail?? Where did you read that??

I stated that the GLUE failed.
I knew what you were talking about. The glue on the Velcro shouldn't have let go.

Have had the same HD covers for 2 years, rode in all kinds of weather, all over the country, not any problems.

I put mine in the dryer for about 10 min., heat 'em up pretty good, made it a lot easier to install, also used a hairdryer blower..still you'll have to pull and tug.
A extra set of hands definitively helps and yes, with time they'll get better.
Minehave no wrinkles at all they look and fit perfectly.

Trying to put these damn things on the lids. I'll be trying the 10 minutes in thedryer thing next. When you put them on do you start at the front and work towards the back, or do you follow the lame directions and start from the center and work your way around in both directions at the same time. I gotta tell you, usually I'm pretty patient, but these things will soon be out the friggin window.

Had 'em before, never again. Scratched my lids. Had to have them repainted.
