maineultraclassic--yup--sticking with the 8. You knows it has a broader TQ band and keeps pulling when the 6 stops. Numbers are not vastly different....but the 8 did almost the same low end...a bit stronger in the mid range and even stronger up top. Both excellent cams....but gonna stick with the tw8!! plus--noD&Dfatcat dip andthat added compression makes it sound so sweet.

I wish Joe would use some better scaling on the dyno sheets to clean them up a bit. Cut down the range of the display for the AFR so we can really see how it looks. Put the torque and hp in the same chart and cut the range down on that too. That way we could see a better sheet in more detail and easier to read. When you pick up the bike, see if he will print the sheet in that type of format, or give you all your runs on a CD.........that way you can open them up on our own and clean them up.

But all in all, I'm sure it's a great running build that will definitely stretch the shoulders out.

steve---i agree. I will tell you that the TQ curve is 130+ from 2000 all the way to 4900rpm and then stays above 125TQ untill 5500rpm. Looking forward to my first ride with the new tw8 cam.

This is NOT a repost--the last 117 build i posted had the tw6 cams installed. This build has higher compression and the tw8 cams installed. Build details are listed in post 1.

steve--i was able to get another sheet--had him put the cursor line at 2000rpm...where it is making 135TQ.....lowest it hits is 130TQ at about 2200rpm....after that it just keeps on climbing....hope this is a better view.
