Wheel Bearing Question.

RE: Wheel Bearing Question.
No dude...25mm is the standard bore size of a 6205 or 6305 ball bearing. The bearings with inch dimensions are more costly(at least in the industrial market) and not nearly as common. I know it can cause some pain trying to change from one to another, but in the long run, the metric dimensions are better because they are more common.

So HD went from a 25.4 mm Bearing down to a 25.0 mm bearing? Why for such a small difference? Just to be different? So they went to a bearing that is 16 thousand of an inch smaller.

RE: Wheel Bearing Question.
Yes, I pretty much knew that, just being a little sacarstic. They honestly should have done that when they went to the 1" to begin with. Metric bearing sizes are always easier to get and were somewhat less expensive.
I started to state what JakeDog did but then I left it alone.
