RE: Are you truly a Tourer..???
I do a lot of 400-1000 mile rides on weekends, try to get away whenever I can, I ride about 25,000 miles a year, I know that there are those who ride a lot more than I, work kills me, I ride to work most days unless I have to carry something that won't fit on a bike, work is less than a mile from home though.....

RE: Are you truly a Tourer..???
I do alot of long weekend rides but I also take a 2-3 week, 5-7,000 mile trip every year. Been from the east to west coast ,Key Westto Nova Scotia, took the 8 hour ferry ride to Newfoundland and then the ferry ride to Labadore (not spelled right I know) and rode the 70 miles of paved road there which ends in Red Bay. Don't know if that makes me a tourer but I should be pretty close.
