Default Helmet Storage

I have a half helmet and I was wondering where do you guys store it when you stop somewhere? It does not fit in my bags, so do you just carry it? Or is there a lock that I can mount on my bike that I can hook it to.

Thanks,

I hook my upside down on my floorboard (rh side)or cruise peg.No one has bothered it as yet. but then again who would want a stolen, nasty used helmet. Hooked on the floor board they are kinda out of sight.

If it's my 1/2 helmet I hang it from a handlebar. If it's my FF, I carry it with me. To expensive to have someone walk off with it. But since 80 percent of my riding is with my 1/2 helmet, it's not a problem.

Kuryakyn ISO grips work with Kewlock grip ends. I'm going with those as soon as Kury releases the 08 models. Yea i wouldn't worry about a old half helmet but some TFer might steal an Arai or Nolan for sure.

Theyre out.

I drilled a hole in the side of my helmet so I could run a cable lock through it...

If you're riding with a "mom and pop" crowd, hang it off the handle bar. If you're on a poker run with "questionable" types lock it with any number of available helmet locks. If you're going into a Biker Bar, keep it nearby as a weapon!

I don't lock my helmet. But if I did I'd just use a small pad lock or gun cable lock and lock it to the bike somewhere like the frame, crash bar, and so in. It really isn't hard to figure out a way to lock it without buying a fancy lock to mount on the bike.

That is only one of the reasons I stoppped wearing a helmet years ago. I didn't like carrying it with me in every store I went in, and don't like leaving it hang upside-down on the bike....if it rains while you are gone you end up with a bucket full of water.

With my 08 UC the tour-pak will mainly be reserved for helmets. My wife has gotten to like wearing a helmet, so I started again too mostly so we can use the intercom and listen to the stereo on the headsets.
