Same here, I've never had anyone mess with my bike or take anything off of it, but then again I don't park it in shady places. Oftentimes I do just carry my helmet in with me. It's not been a big problem for me - if shopping I put it in the shopping cart, if going into a cafe to eat it sits on the seat next to me, blah blah.

I have hung my half helmet off the handlebar or on top of the right hand mirror many many times though and had no probs with that so far. An expensive helmet though I'd not leave like that.

Look at available locks obviously if you want to lock it on the bike...

I just put mine on the break pedal. It sits there nicely out of sight for the most part and will not get wet or nasty on the inside from hanging it upside down. last night it rained most of the night at work and when I came out it was dry on the inside. i don't worry about it getting stolen. I doubt anyone will mess with it.

Wow I did not think I would get this many comments. Thanks to everyone. I usually dont park anywhere shady, and most of the time I carry it in if we stop for a bite to eat. But I would like to have the option to lock it on the bike just in case I go somewhere and I dont feel like carrying it. I will look at the above item, I did not even think to look at the HD site.

Thanks for all the comments guy!!!

I just set it on the seat. If someone wants to put their head in my stinky, nasty helmet, they probably need it more than I do and I can always get another one for $40 from JC Whitney.

It all depends on where I am at. Most of the time I leave it on the bike forquick trips in and out.
