I just have better things to do than spend hours cleaning my bike. 08UC wash with car wash and blow off with shop vac. and ride as much as i can. I do like that s100 cleaner and zymol wax.

I do like to ride my bike as often as possible but I do like to ride a clean bike, with that said.
Almost everyone has the same method to accomplish the final result I would also suggest as other to go into the detailing section and you would learn alot from there....Good Luck..

If it's good enough weather to wash, it's good enough to ride. Just spray S100, rinse, blow dry with my leaf blower, touch up spots w/towel or chamy depending on part. Takes just a few minutes. On over night rides I'm usually up first then take my time with spray cleaner/polish and a good cup of coffee.

Wife bought a soft nylon duster about two foot long a few years ago from walmart, I swiped it about a week after she got it. It works great in getting in all the hard to reach spots you cant get with a soapy ray or sponge with no scratches what so ever.

It seems that bike cleaning methods are like backdoor orifices - everyone has one. Anyone care to share/recommend techniques and products to a newbie? Or, refer me to an appropriate thread.

up on the J&S lift
s100 for lite cleanings
Harley wash and sponge for heavy cleanings
master blaster
Harley spray detailer with microfibre cloth

makes for quick easy cleaning (15-30 minutes and I am back on the road)

Since you are a newbe and I learned the hardway with my first bike. Make sure you never use windex and or rainx on your windshield.

Rinse off. Wash with Harley Sunwash, blow dry with $30 Toro leaf blower from Home Depot. Then finish off with Harley Gloss.
