Cause I was trying to figure out why you were so concerned with the color, since the riding is the important part, I just assumed you were so concerned because it rode different... [:@]

I had a 76 Electra Glide Liberty Edition...........it was a color similar to Black Pearl. Also had a pretty god awful brightly colored eagle on the fairing..............at the time, I loved the bike, but looking at old pix now............what the hell was I thinking! LOL. Not fond of the black pearl myself, but to each his own!

 

I was torn between Black Pearl and Vivid Black, went with Vivid Black to be safe. The Black Pearl looked green and gray in the shade. It also puts a certain hazy green glow to the chrome and I was undecided about that. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with Cobalt Blue as I think that color really pops in the sun and shade. [/align] [/align]

 

I suggest at a rally or somwhere there are always pinstripe artists... have them add the magic touch,
I'm sure they'll come up with something that makes your "sticker peck out!!!"

 

I agree with miacycles. I would look at other options before making the leap.

 

Vivid black my fav. However from a detailing point of view the pearl black is awsome and stays clean longer.

 

I have an 07 Black pearl RoadGlide. And I have to admit it can look a little bland. But on an overcast day, no color pops. Blue is blue, red is red, and black is black. But if you walk up on cobalt blue, or vivid black on a sunny day, black pearl is the one that will stand out. If that is not enough, some keenly placed chrome always helps.

Vivid Black - To me, color preference is as important as any other add-on you might choose. You realistically only get one shot to get what you want here, so, get what you want.Just ask theguys who came up withall of those colors for the Ultrasif color is important to buyers. If it weren't, you wouldn't have a choice! AndGod Bless all of those obscurecolor combinations out there!
