More double cheeseburgers so your coat fits tighter. worked for me.
By the way I got one of them baffle thingys in black as I just put a chrome one on. I'll let you have it pretty cheap. pm me for more info

+3....Had the same issue. The baffle reduced it by about 80%. Barely noticeable now.
The baffle is pretty inexpensive and goes on in about 10 minutes. You have a choice of chrome or black. Just make sure to run a thread tap in the 2 mounting holes to remove the paint from them.
I recall it's a 1/4 " X 20 tap. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.

++++ The Fork Baffle....one of the BEST $25 Ive spent on the EGS!!!! He's right on the tap size....just make sure it's a 'bottom hole' tap.

(If only solving the 'heat' issue were so cheap! lol)

The Baffle came stock on my 06 RG but I changed it out for the chrome one

The fork baffle forces more air over the engine instead of it coming over the tank. I love mine.

nope. directs air TOWARD engine. oil temp dropped 10 degrees
