Default Brake Pads for Polished Stainless Steel Rotors?

I have always used Sintered pads onStainless Steel floating rotors on my Softail, but what do you use on POLISHED SS rotors? I am fixing to put POLISHED SS rotors on my Roady and was wondering what style pads to use. I have read a couple of threads that talk about using ORGANIC pads but from what I remember about organics, they don't last long and make a mess with all the brake dust.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I use to make a free meal on this very question. Guys would bet me that any brake pad would hjave to make marks in a polished rotor. I said my Lyndalls do not. After a while, the word spreasd & no more free lunch.

I have used Z+ pads...they are Sintered (semi-metalic) pads also...what do ya'll think about Ferodo PRP pads? They are supposed to be made especially for Polished rotors.

I use EBC Kevlars. They leave a nice satin sheen on the rotor, instead of the near galling that the OEM pads leave. They are 19 bucks a pair from Jireh. I have been riding over 60k miles using them and have no complaints.

Please call Paul Phone: 800-400-9490, Business Line: 714-241-9991Tuesday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm or e-Mail lyndallbrakes@lyndallracingbrakes.com as you may wish to get this answer right from the horses mouth: they (Z+ pads) are NOT Sintered (semi-metalic) pads also... There is no metal in your fine brake pads. That is why your brake pads do not scratch your rotors, make noise, or leave dust.
