RE: 08 105 Anniversary FLHTCU Ultra Glide Classic
There are several of us here that have them. I got mine in October and had the Stage-1 upgrade done on it at the 1k service, included Vance and Hines slip-on mufflers, SE intake and SERT. I love this bike, the color is what attracted me to it, but the Brembo brakes and ABS, along with the 6 gallon fuel tank are nice changes on the 08 model year. Now if winter would just get over I could start riding again!!

I ride an Electra Glide Classic and my friend just got his 105th Anniversary Ultra and loves it. He addeda few little chrome doo-dahs to it and the backrest for the seat and really loves the ride. He just sold his Goldwing because of the Ultra and that's something I didn't think he would ever do and money wasn't an issue for him. Go for it, you will love it, it's the ultimate road sofa !!!

I have a Honda Goldwing I had triked out, also a Thunder Mountain Custom Cycle. I seen this 08 Anniversary Edition and had to have it. Would you have any pictures of yours. What is this sert I have heard of it some where but can not remember. I am in Louisiana so good riding weather at the moment.

The SERT is the Screamin Eagle Race Tuner, when you add new mufflers and a high flow intake you need some kind of fuel management system to add more fuel to the mixture. This helps cool the engine down some and with a good dyno tune can increase both your horse power and torque. If you plan to keep your bike totally stock you don't need it, but I wanted more sound and the Stage-1 upgrade is about the best "bang for the buck" as far as engine upgrade is concerned.

Mine is a POSE 08 Ultra Classic. I love it so far. I just hate the frickin cold weather keeping me from riding. The mrs. and I rode a 105th 08 Ultra Classic at Rapid City during bike week. I liked the colors, but I couldn't pass up paying $17,900 for my POSE Ultra instead of the $23,200 that the 105th list for.

Best move you'll ever make. Great ride, smooth as silk.
"Fly by Wire" throttle takes the throttle cable out of the picture.
Six gallon fuel tank is a plus, but not a show stopper.
You'll LOVE the ABS, based on what I've read here.
Plenty of bells and whistles.
The color is nice, but be prepared for comments like "Dura-cell battery" bike, coppertop, etc. Those people are just jealous and have a small *****. ;-)
