Pretty easy installation. Between instructions that came with the HD auxillary lights, and an HD service manual, the work was simple.
The auxillary headlights only work on low beam. I have a modulator that only works on high beam, during daylight. Either way, trying to get people to see me.
When you're seated, the toggle switch on the right backside of the headlight assembly is for the auxillary lights. Left switch is for accessories, I believe.

I installed them on my 07 FLHRS and wired them to the left toggle switch (I did not use the plug/connector) so I could turn them on or off when I wanted to. I figured I’d get longer life from the auxiliary sealed beams.
Pretty simple installation for me and as Heartpumper has stated – the explicit instructions will guide you through it.
Installing these lights made a world of difference to me when riding at night. It will be money well spent.

The connectors are in the nacelle, you can choose either the left or the right switch. The HD branded lights come with the proper connectors. Extremely easy install.
