I am thinking of going with the rinehart 2 into 1 and I was curious as to your opinions. Also I curently have rinehart slip-ons and was wondering if it is any louder[sm=feedback.gif]

 

Rinehart 2 into 1's have a perpensity to discolor...just sayin'.

 

Is it just the tip changing color or is it the pipe itself cause I have heard they had the tip issue fixed at least on the true duals anyways my slip-ons still look great but thats not saying the 2-1's are the same

 

The chrome muffler body turns a light golden brown.

 

it's just the tip--did on my tru duals after about 7 months --- they were replaced free of charge.

i would not have cared about the color change if they both were the same color -- one was kind of purplish and other turned bronze

 

I've got 10K on one and the muffler body looks as good as the day I put it on. The tip turned purple and they replaced it.

Ya might check out BUB 2 into 1 also. [8D]I'm in the market for a new exhaust this winter too. There are so many its hard to choose, true duals or 2 into 1. I do a lot of two up riding so the 2 in 1 would really be nice for the added torque. But I like the cleaness of the true duals, then there's the noise issue. I like a nice rumble but want to hear the radio to. What ta do, What ta do[:@]aghhhh

 

I only have experience with D&D fat cat 2-1, love them, much better that the ole SE slip ons I had.

 

one of my buds put one on his s/g, we took a 5500 mile trip and all the way out he was bitcin about how loud me and another buds thunder headers were,but by the time we got back his rinehart was just as loud,it is a nice looking pipe though ,kinda grows on ya
