Default Roadking seat recomendation

Looking to replace my stock seat on a 2003 Roadking classic aniversary.I will want Rider and passengerboth with a backrest. I am installing 14" apesthis week if that has any baring on the seat choice. Thanks and I just want to let you know how valuable your input has been for me over the past year as I have researched here before all the work I have done, to get my bike chef ready.

I put the Sundowner seat on my RK Classic shortly after I got it. I really like the seat, but I think I'm going to send it to BadX to get it a little more comfortable. Good time of the year to send in since it's winter here.

We have been very happy with the Mustang Touring seat. I like to tell the story that my wife only had two things to say about it. First was "You paid HOW MUCH for that?" and second was "I don't care what you paid, it was worth it". The passenger part of the stock seat on a RK Classic is the most narrow and offers the least support of any of the stock HD touring seats.

The only seat I can compare it to is the stock RKC seat which was good only for trips less than 45 minutes and after that it was a pain in the ***.

I have had the Sundowner on my lsat two bikes and loved them. The only down side is the seat does push you forward a bit.

the sundowner is a bit more comfortable in padding for driver , the passenger diff. is the big change, it goes from about 6 inches to 12 inches, with both backrest installed you will have a significant diff.
make sure to order the "classic" if you want the HD emblems on the sides like the RKC...and consider ordering from the internet HD stores..will save some $$ about $75 in savings.(if you can wait about 14 days)

I have to vote for the Mustang seat, I've tried Harley seats on several differant bikes and I don't like them. The Mustang fits well andI love the back rest. I have the wife section but can't tell you if it's comfortable. My wifehas her own bike.
