Ona 04 Road King Standard, thinking about installing an alarm system. I turned the ignition on-off-on- off-on, and then pushed the left turn signal twice. My turn signals flashed once, and only once.
Does this mean anything? I understand that if I had a security system, the lights would flash twice.

I have a glide with an alarm. It came with a key fob that controls the alarm and the owners manual spells out how to arm and disarm it with the turn signal buttons. I have a light that flashes in the guages when it is armed. The alarm box is under a side on the right side and looks plain. It has a battery inside it and works the alarm if the power is cut to the bike. I would look in your manual and under the cover for the alarm box. Without the fob or the manual it would be hard to set up or reset. Mine screams pretty loud if you move the bike and forget to turn it off.

I would think if you hit the switch twice it would only flash once, Becuse wouldn't you be truning on the turn signal and then turning it right back off ?
My dad has an 02 Road King with an alarm and his has a remote, It does flash twice,I think.
