Hey, Glide -

Might I remind you that John is also a SPONSOR of these forums? In other words, he has PAID to be here, and PAYS for the bandwidth you use to slam him with every chance you get.

Tell you what, Bubba - ship me the J&M's you CLAIM you had and failed along with the receipt- I'll give you your money back out of my OWN pocket. Because I think you're full of chit, dude - #1, with your 'tude you'd have already been on the line with J&M to get 'em replaced/refunded and #2, I've used J&M products for YEARS without the kinda problems you claim, and I run my sound up REAL high.
Keep mouthing off to me like that, and I will reach out and touch you! Think about that for just a minute ok?

Okay...thought about it - an' the offer still stands. I'll PAY YOU for the speakers you CLAIM to have bought from 'em - just ship 'em to me with the receipt an' you'll have your money back. Seems fair ta me.

And yes - I'll ship 'em to John and ask him WHY they failed - because they shouldn't have. I've beat mine HARD on purpose, because as I said in my first post about them, he DID ship them to me for evaluation at no charge, and I've run 'em harder than anything in an attempt to see what kind of abuse they're capable of taking. If you did have a set that failed, I'm thinking that there may have been a manufacturing defect - which I know from long experience J&M WILL make right.

If you simply prefer another brand, either because they're less expensive or because you honestly prefer the sound difference, I've got no problem with that. But when you take every opportunity to bash a company that CONTRIBUTES on a LOT of different sites, and has come to the aid of more than one biker - then yeah, I'm gonna call you on it.

So....are you going to ship them to me, or is this just some kind of vendetta/grudge match?

And feel free to "reach out" at any time, dude....it ain't my first rodeo. However, let me get the legalities out of the way.... You are hereby informed that I take your comments as a personal threat against my personal safety/wellbeing. You are therefore advised that any attempt at personal contact will be construed by me as a hostile act intending to cause me severe personal bodily harm, and I will therefore respond to your appearance in a manner appropriate to ensure my personal safety.

I also hope the moderators here will note your personal threat....

Have a nice day. Let me know when you're ready to ship those speakers and I'll provide you a "ship-to" address. Just be sure there's a return address on the receipt, or on the packaging so that I can send you the money you spent.

Kind of like road rage. It amazes me how the same person that gets all worked up in traffic is the same guy that says "pardon me" if he accidently bumps you while walking.

Don't know what that's all about but i'm sure from reading your response you must get beat up a lot huh George? If so, it's likely because you have a BIG mouth and never shut it!

So while we're at this again big boy let me tell you a few things regarding your comment of vandetta's and grudge matches here George. In every post that's been made about J&M where i'm in it stating my opinion of their product, you're right in there preaching how they are the best thing since sliced meat, and thanks for confirming to all of us why you do that. Because you which I suspected all along suckholed a "FREE" pair for yourself therefore your opinion is BIASED at best! Now if you want to be a real cowboy, pony up and buy your own damned stuff, and while your at it dirt lump, go and buy some other speakers so you can make an informed decision about the comparison, as I have done before making my comments.

John has my name "Graeme Browne" in his database as I bought them direct from J&M corp and I don't need to post my invoice here to satisfy your fat old *** do I George. Furthermore, since you've read all my other JM posts and chimed in with your southern grade 2 page 2 form of ebonics, you already know i've posted pictures of the speakers both on my bike and in my fairing. I'm also the same one who posted pictures when I removed that cheapplastc (fake)cover from the back of the speaker to reveal the tiny magnet that parades as something bigger. Sincethen, John has admitted this is not something functional as he previously claimed it was in an earlier post, but stated in fact they were added to aid in it's appearance as he didn't think people would buy his speaker when they saw the small magnet. It's calledperceived value when there'smore of a large magnet on the back, hence the larger plastic cover to dress it up.

I have bought the speakers and paid full pop for the product and wasn't impressed, and have also bought and paid for other speakers which I have listened to, and in that combined with this being a public forum of debate, have printed my feedback to inform others of what I have found. If you don't like that George, then just go **** off and crawl back in your hole. When you come in hereand start typing and I quote;

Because I think you're full of chit, dude
maybe next time you'll go back and see the posts where i've shown the product which verifies I have them, and if you're concerned whether or not I bought them, go phone your buddy John who'll verify the purchase online through J&M Direct.

John and I have already had a discussion of why I didn't ask for another pair, and that's because it cost me a Brokerage Fee into Canada of 35.00 due to them shipping it UPS plus Canadian duty and other shipping costs bring the total to well over 150.00 CDN for the pair I bought. John can verify that cost as well. To put it simply for you because youare to stupid to follow this, it would cost me about 60.00 to to bring in another pair under warranty due to brokerage / customsfee's for something that I already knew soundedlike crap. You getting the point here yet George?

John did not step up and offer to handle those charges which I expected, and I have since went and bought speakers locally to replace th

Actually, I've listened (and watched) you hammer on J&M time and again, dude - and said nothing. Everyone has the right to their opinion. It's when it goes on time after time that I WILL say something.

If you'll bother to go back and read my original post about the J&M's you'll see where I stated there that they were provided to me at no charge for evaluation. Why? Because I speak my mind honestly and let the chips fall where they may. If I felt they weren't good, I'd say so. If I had compared them to Hogtunes and found them better or worse, I'd say that as well - but since I haven't I've never attempted to make such a comparison. I have heard other speakers, and found them not to my liking - but not to the extent that I felt it meritted slamming them.

As to me buying "my own damned stuff" - I fear I sense a bit of playground jealousy there. Because I have been around m/c's for a pretty good while and have the ability to communicate, I am sometimes approached to evaluate a product - sometimes for the manufacturer's own information, other times as an "initial product evaluation". When I am provided a product for private feedback, I say nothing about it other than to the manufacturer. When I am provided a product for evaluation, then it is with the understanding that I am free to give my own opinion on it. Ask Tulsa Enterprises, for whom I evaluated a "Sports Windshield" for the GL1800 several years back. I didn't like it, and publicly stated my reason(s) for it in several open forums. There was no rancor on my part - nor on Tulsa's. It was my honest opinion with reasons stated for same.

Do I "defend" a vendor? Sure, at times - when, in my opinion, they are being deliberately and maliciously slammed - which is how I view your comments. I offered you a way to recoup your money, and the offer still stands. Why? Because if you're indeed that unhappy and they bother you that much, you obviously need closure - and I'm offering it.

Look - I doubt there's anyone on this board that hasn't had a product that they felt was of low quality at some point or another. I've been riding bikes a long time, and have learned that what one person feels is junk another will rave about. I've also seen stuff that should have NEVER been brought to market.

Apparently, reading comprehension is somewhat a challenge for you. I NEVER asked you to post it here - instead, I offered to refund your money if you sent me the invoice along with the speakers.

Anything else you'd like to ask there, russl179? [sm=insomnia.gif]

I clicked on this because, I too was wondering...but dayum! [sm=bomb.gif]

Maybe I'll just do a nice, quiet, little search after the smoke has cleared.[sm=escape.gif]

Why should they pay for something that YOUR government requires?

Isn't there a company in Canada that sells J&M products? Harley does not cover P/H on returns, either!!! BTW: If Hillary gets in, we will go to the socialist form of health care like they have in Canada. (Boy, I have opened a entire can with that statement!!!)

I think I will try the J&Ms.
