It doesn't matter as long as it is VIVIB BLACK...faster, better mileage, etc.

Well the deal is done, got my bike in BLACK PEARL, so not to look like all you others in your vivid black. LOL. I got low APR through my credit union like suggested above (thanks for that). I pick it up tomorrow. 2008 Street Glide with black forks (uppers and lowers), black engine guard and saddlebag guard as well as a detacheable sissybar and backrest for the wife. I did however only buy the parts not have them installed because of the insane amount they want for labor. I can install everything myself except for the lower front forks which I will have my neighborhood HD mechanic that 4Mer goes to take care of.

wise choice,,,, 07's were plagued with prob's many people are unaware of..
didnt see anyone mention the Crank issue,, among other things!

I had a 07,,, notice ,,,"HAD"...... mama didnt raise no fool!!

The '08 apparently has a gizmo on the front of the engine that reduces the vibrations that cause wobble. This is something new I learned after I bought the bike. I don't know if it makes a difference or not as this is my first motorcycle. I've noticed some type of vibration in the bike at high speeds when making turns but don't know if it's the infamous wobble.

So this doo-hickey is another plus for the '08. Bigger tank, cruise, ABS, Brembo. Four more pluses.
