It's always more FUN to buy NEW - That way it is YOUR from day 1 and anything you do to it was your idea.
or as my friend puts it "You're the first one to fart in the seat."

Bigger fuel tank dosent matter to me,I need to stretch every 150 miles or so anyway.Brembo brakes would be a plus.IDS is about $200 and easy to install.A used bike can be a real good deal but if I can afford it I would buy new.Something about a new ride and knowing the history from day 1

One thing to look at if your financing the purchase. The 07 is a used bike and the 08 is a new bike.Finance rate is a lot less on a new one.

Ilike the bigger gas tank. Even though you may stop every 125 miles or so, you don't have to get gas each time.So while everyone else is getting gas, you could be relaxing.

Go with the 08, I would not buy a bike that had been a rental. Get the cruise on the 08, it is worth every penny.

The main reason I would be upgrading is because I went from driving my bike for fun with the occasional commuter for work to commuting every day so the bigger tank is nice because I dont have to fill up as often. I drive 60 miles each direction for work. What is IDS? So you guys made a lot of great points and really opened my eyes at the differences I wasnt aware of. I am trying to get as much info as possible before buying this time. Thanks again gang.

I took the 07 Ultra over the 08. Saved me a bunch and the only option that really interested me was the ABS brake system. Sounded really good, but the cost difference was pretty big, for my bike, not necessarily for other dealers. Am satisfied with my 07, but really hate the clatter box noise.

YOU REALIZE If you make a decesion by feb 2nd and you can take a anniversary edition they will give you a 1.05% interest rate. That is a hell of a savings in itself.

Go with the 07'. Not enough extras on 08's. I am by no means rich but I can buy what i want when I want. I have been through 5 Harleys in 3 years. If I thought that there would be a big advantage to owning the 08' I would already have it in my garage.Dont get me wrong, the 08's do have some nice features but not enough to make me trade.I love my 07.
