Default New streetglide

After a long time in thinking I traded my Softail and my Ultra and my wifes 1200C for a new Stretglide and a new 1200 low.
Got the 2 new bikes today now the work starts.
So I am up for opinions prior to starting to buy new parts

Seems like the Glide will need some seat work for my short legs ? can a stock streetglide be lowered or are they allready as low as the can go without trouble.

The bikes got home about 2:00 this afternoon and I worked on the wifes sporty the rest of the day
I had to work around the neighbors but I got the engine crash bar on and the windshield

Soon I might get to start on mine shift linkage headlight trim

Congratulations. I am sure you could lower the SG some more, but at the 12" it is already, you will probably sacrifice ride quality... IMO, you should contact Allen at www.meancitycycles.com . He goes by BadX on the forum. He does seats, and should be able to lower you down, and make that stock seat more comfortable. Plus, it will be cheaper than new shocks, lowering kit, or a new seat... I have read nothing but great reviews from fellow forum members...

personally, I did glides with powder coated forks and crash bars. Pipes and the seat would be the first things I would do though.
