I just love the nostalgic look my white walls provide and wouldn’t trade them for the world. However, since I don’t have a lift they are a pain to clean. I clean, roll the bike forward, clean, roll the bike forward. I do this for both front and back tires and for both sides of the tire. I use a product call bleach white which is about $4.00 from Wal-mart. It is real good stuff.
How do you clean your white walls? And What products do you use?
I like the white wall look too -- as long as their on sombody else's ride!
I can only imagine the work it takes to keep them clean from the brake dust and all! Good Luck!
I am a big fan of white walls as well. I use wesley white wall tire bleach. I have used it for years. A tough stain I will use an sos pad. A friend of mine has a bagger as well and he just put black wall tires on. And as far as I am conserened it looks terrible. The white walls just make the bike look richer with them. Of course thats my opinion. Bob.
I also use Bleech White. Only, once I spray it on, I clean it with an SOS pad. Looks great! Hardly any effort required to keep it white. You gotta get a lift man. Craftsman lift is the way to go. Saves on the back.
Love the white walls, I cant wait for the tires to wear out on the Ultra, so I can replace them. I use the S-100 total cleaner liquid not the foam, and it keeps them lookin good
