I don't know about up there but if you can find somewhere to rent one it should not be a hard transaction just like renting anything else at least thats how it works here in Dallas. You should check your local craigs list or post on there when you need one and somone may reply to you willing to rent you their's for that same time frame.

If you just want a trailer to get it there, U-haul rents a 5x9 ramp trailer. Used it when I moved from Phoenix to Oregon and it worked fine. Rode the King right in, secured it and tossed an old blanket over it. If I remember right it was approximately $150.00 for thetrip.It's an open trailer so if you are looking for something to store or lock the bike in it wouldn't be a good choice.
