Default security system swap

i recently bought a king that does not have a security system on it. i still have my dyna that does. i thought if i could pull the unit and swap it over i would. i am not sure i would buy one but what the heck if it is sitting there.
when i looked at the service manual last night it said when you pull one and hook it back up, to follow the directions in the electrcial diagnostics manual to start it up. i was wondering if any of you have the start up procedure for me.

Thanks
TL
hmmmm, i guess i need to change my picture...

My FLHRI is too important to me to trust it to HD's system. I installed the ThunderPager system by Aritronix. Seven years later, I have a system that was easy to install, has range confirmation, I can maintain it myself (only 1 sensor replacement in those years) and it offers more features for less money than the HD system. It's matchbox-sized, waterproof, and I don't need a multitester to work on it. After all, HD doesn't manufacture security systems, it just buys them from a vendor. The new system is called Scorpio. If you can transfer the HD system to your new bike, that would be great, as they say, "the price is right!"

I think all you have to do is the address the fob for that bike to that security system. I know in my 2003 owners manual it gives detailed instructions on how exactly to do it.

just FYI to everyone. tonight i pulled the module out of my old bike and looked everything over. the numbers on both modules were different. obviously they would be because the new bike was a blinker only. so since they looked exactly the same and the instructions in both manuals were exactly the same for operating, i figured they must be interchangeable. WELL, they were. i swapped them and now the newer bike has a working security system. the personal code i put in even carried over as well. so i did the swap and all looks well.
Just FYI
