what is the correct procedure to tighten the spokes. Is there a toqueing requirement, stecial tool, etc. i have a 04 rk classic with 10k miles. No problems yet but would like to check. should this be left to the man to do?

I have a buddy that is a test rider for HD, he tells me they are testing a new touring chassis that he personally has ridden at 120 mph. He says they believe they have eliminated the wobble issue for the next generation touring models. When we will see that bike he didn't know.

41,000 miles & no loose spokes for me.
Stock wheels, I check 'em every so often, and really good in the spring.
R.K. Classic just woldn't look right with anything else...
Ride safe, ride smart!

Mine didn't loosen up the first time until 31k miles. The second time was at 62k miles. I had just put the bike on the lift, checked them, found them tight, and left on a trip. 200 miles into the trip the spokes started coming loose quickly and ended up ruining the hub in no time.....No more rear spokes for me.....The ideal being able to plug a puntured tire is a side benefit, as well.
